It feels like this finale was never going to happen and how the final designers have kept the winner under wraps all this time is beyond us (we thought at the very least, we could catch Kors two cocktails in and he’d spill), but whatevs it’s here, tonight at 10 on Lifetime. This season has been a bit of a snooze, but we think these ladies are going to pull out some major “wow” outfits and make us forget everything that came before it. Designers!! Project Runway Debut Date Announced

Lifetime will start showing the sixth season of Project Runway this summer on Thursday August 20th at 10. The whole gang is back– Heidi, Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia (or as Heidi says, Ni-nah Gah-cee-a), ready to guide sixteen new contestants as they show off their design skills on their way to Fashion Week. Filmed in Los Angeles and New York, Project Runway also features influential guest judges from the worlds of fashion, music, film and television.
But wait there’s more! Models of the Runway, an exciting new companion series, will air at immediately following Project Runway. Each 30-minute episode will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the reality competition – from the models’ perspective. Experience the drama, anxiety, joys, tears and frustrations as the models themselves face elimination each week and compete for a cash prize and photo spread in Marie Claire magazine.
