Once it becomes national news that Carrie Underwood is serving cupcakes at her wedding instead of cake, it’s official that cupcakes are here to stay.  That’s gonna make someone in Chicago very unhappy.

Music: Train #1 On iTunes

Train’s huge hit single, Hey, Soul Sister, has gone double platinum and reached #1 on the overall iTunes chart.

The band will be performing “Hey, Soul Sister” on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on April 8“Live! With Regis & Kelly” on April 19 and “Dancing with the Stars” on May 4.  Train will also have the honor to help kick-off the inaugural concert at the soon-to-be-opened New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey with Bon Jovi on May 26

TV: “Army Wives” Premieres April 11th on Lifetime–Video

Army Wives follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women – and one man – living with their spouses and families on an active army post.  The series films in Charleston, South Carolina and stars Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Wendy Davis, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, Katelyn Pippy and Catherine Bell.

Look for the first episode of season four,  Sunday, April 11th at 10PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

THE Yes Men: Left Forum Comedy Show This Saturday!

The Fair & Balanced Comedy Show! will be the third major event at this year’s Left Forum conference at Pace University . The Left Forum brings together organizers and intellectuals from across the globe to share ideas for understanding and transforming the world.  The show will bring together some of the country’s sharpest political satirists – from the culture-jamming antics of those provocative pranksters The Yes Men (Mike Bonnanno and Andy Bichlbaum) to the sharp and incisive wit of Daily Show creator Lizz Winstead.

Project Runway Sneak Peek: It’s Elemental

At first glance, we thought the designers were going to be inspired by Earth,Wind and Fire, but alas, we won’t get to see them in some colorblocking by Mila or Seth Aaron’s “rock-and-roll-abilly” stuff.  Instead, the designers will  create a look inspired by one of nature’s four basic elements– earth, wind, fire or air.  Check it out Thursday at 10PM/9C on Lifetime and enjoy the sneak peek below.
