C’mon! What could be a better Valentine’s Day gift than the first new CD from Sade in ten years. ”Soldier of Love” puts the honey voiced chanteuse and her band right back where they belong, in our ipods. (Okay, so we didn’t have ipods ten years ago) The album is getting rave reviews including one from fellow baby-making music maker Maxwell, who said the music “(will) shake you in your shoes.” Enjoy the video of the title song below.
SXSW Film Line-Up Announced

SXSW just keeps getting better and better. Given that last year gave us the multi- Oscar nominated Hurt Locker, it’s best you stay on top of what’s playing the festival this year to get a jump on things. The line-up is always eclectic and this year is no exception. Finally, we get to see “Lemmy“, the documentary chronicling the enigmatic Motorhead frontman and then there’s “One Night In Vegas” about a 1996 Mike Tyson comeback fight that includes advice from his friend Tupac Shakur. Take a look at some other choices highlighted by the New York Times here. In The Name Of Love-Yeah!

The folks behind “A Diamond is Forever” are actually promoting the commodity of love. A new video channel, dropeverythingforlove.com, featuring real life couples went live today here.
From now through Valentine’s Day voyeurs will find a window into intimate interviews of real people (not the perfectly-polished actors we’re normally used to seeing) declaring their love for their partners. Kind of “Sex, Lies and Videotape-ish”, but without the creepiness.
The fab Debi Mazar shares her love story on the site. She describes the love between she and husband of nine years, Gabriele Corcos, in these three words: Mercurial, Honest, Magnificant. You can check out her video here after you skip the intro. Look out for more celebrity videos, sprinkled in as we get closer to Valentine’s Day.
And you can sign up to: Just make your public declaration of love and take the challenge – to drop everything for love. Your video is then submitted, edited and uploaded for all to see. So, you’ll want to make sure you’re love is mutual.
“Zombieland” Thrills on DVD

When we saw Zombieland last fall, we weren’t sure if we were going to buy it. But, less than 20 minutes in, we were hooked. From the lists to the Dale Earnhardt 3 on the truck, it’s the little things that make this movie fun. Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson could have gotten a nomination for this role too as far as we’re concerned. He’s a hoot and a half. And, this film has one of the best surprise cameos ever. Really. Lots of extras and interviews on the DVD. Enjoy the trailer below.

For many, Joan Jett set the standard for being a true rock and roll chick. And, for those who really got it, so did Cherie Currie. The story of The Runaways was begging to be told on the big screen and we can’t wait to see it unfold on March 19th. With the intriguing casting of Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and sweet little (or at least that’s how most of us think of her) Dakota Fanning as Cherie, the stage is set for something real cool to go down.

Holy Moly, people. We all think we have some pretty creative and super-strength passwords, but after taking a look at the list of easily hackable passwords, we realized we might not be as smart as we thought. Who knew “soccer”, “nicole” and “monkey” were so popular? Check out the entire list of lame passwords at the New York Times here and take some time to read the whole article while you’re there. It’s an eye opener.
